Q: Can I customize my order?
A: Absolutely!! 99% of our work is custom orders!
Q: What ingredients are used to make your cakes?
Q: Should I refrigerate my cake or cupcakes?
A: If you are picking up the day of your event, everything will be fine at room temperature until serving. In fact, buttercream cakes are best at room temperature.
Q: I have allergies. Does Sugar & Love Bakery make anything wheat/dairy/nut free?
A: Food allergies are scary. And because I work out of my home, I cannot guarantee allergy safety, my kids eat peanut butter, but I do not bake with it, and follow DineSafe procedures for sanitizing all
Q: Does Sugar & Love Bakery have any gluten free items?
A: Not at the moment.
Q: How far in advance should I place my order?
A: I am often asked what is the best timing to place an order, and my answer is always, as soon as you know the date of the event. Ideally wedding cakes would be 3-6 months in advance, and special occasion cakes at least 2-4 months. That being said, I completely understand that things pop up, and it never hurts to ask! I will always try my best to help anyone out!
Q: Does Sugar & Love deliver?
A: I can, in fact, wedding cakes will always be delivered and setup at the venue. Bride’s have enough to worry about on the big day.
Q: Is there a minimum order for sugar cookies?
A: There is a minimum order of 2 dozen.
Q: How much do your products cost?
A: We have some basic pricing on our website, however, if you are looking for something custom, the best way to get an accurate price quote for your event would be to send us a picture of the design you are looking for to email@example.com
Q: Do you offer wedding consultations?
A: Yes! Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to set something up! Tastings are $20, and if you proceed to book your event with me, then that cost will be deducted from your deposit.
